Miss Lexie Benton is a gorgeous senior from Kingsley High School. She's the editor of the yearbook, on the student council, and is captain of the basketball team, softball team, and volleyball team. What a gorgeous go-getter.

Tori + Eric's New Car

Tori and Eric got a new car today... I had to take pictures. We had a great day with the girls out in Suttons Bay, and will post pictures from the day tomorrow- the girls had SO much fun! Without further adiu, the car.

Well my new lens came in- a shiney new Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS--- and I think I am in love. My lovely friend Rene' volunteered to be my, "model". We were down by the old zoo in Traverse City, MI. The wind was blowing so hard that we only got a few good shots. I though I would share them.

I'm SO, so very excited for this summer! My first time doing both the wedding invites and the photography for a wedding! I also got the oppertunity to edit some engagement, "snapshots" taken by the bride's mother. I'm sure I would have done those too if I was in Alaska and not Michigan! :) But Wendy did a great job! So I thought I would share a before and after.

This was taken by Wendy Duke in Petersburg Alaska (my home town). This was edited in Adobe Photoshop CS3 with actions from both MCP Actions and CoffeeShop Actions (along with a few tricks of my own).

Still excited to try my hand at blogging. I really don't know what I am doing, but I'll give it my best shot! I guess I should share my recent sessions! :)  

I had a wonderful session yesterday with a new friend and her son- absolutely gorgeous- both of them! I adore the use of color- the brighter the better when photographing kids, I think. So we set out to find the brightest and most colorful settings in Traverse City, Michigan and I think we definately accomplished that goal!

New to Blogger

Hi!

I'm pretty excited- this is my very first blog! (Currently, I should be sewing/painting or cleaning- Aaah, avoidence- isn't it grand!) this is going to be my business blog- Grace Wolf Photography, so i should share a little of what I have been doing lately.

Just recently, about a week ago, I came home from my sister's wedding. I did hair and makeup for all of the gals in the wedding party- here's a good shot of Marie's (bride) trial hair. SOOOO pretty.
